My friend Daniel and I have been trying to get together to hang out for a while. Today it finally worked. We were both free. The weather was great! And lucky for me, Daniel's family has a farm close by with a creek AND a pond on it. Yes!
We hiked the creek first and captured a few small fish which we took to the pond as bait. Tiny tube baits did the trick. Lots of little fish in the creek, which was really low at this time of year.
We didn't have a lot of luck at the pond, but I did catch this guy! We were hoping to land a big catfish with the minnows we caught. Oh well....Thankful for friends. Especially thankful for friends with farms!
